Botox and Fillers Between the Eyebrows

According to PRS journal (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), combining botox and fillers between the eyebrows (glabellar furrows) may prolong filler duration in the region. Botox reduces muscle activity and slows down the rate at which the filler degrades. It’s important that an expert injector performs the service since there is a greater complication rate in this area.

I came to Dr.Mao’s for liquid rhinoplasty and walked away extremely happy and satisfied with the results. Dr. Mao's physician's assistant Arrisa performed the injections with precision and she did an amazing job and I couldn’t be any happier. The before and after photos speak for themselves. She gave me a bridge and a more defined nose where before, it was wider and I always struggled to keep my glasses on. With my new nose came a slimmer face even tho none were injected in my cheeks. Dr. Johnny Mao is by far the best plastic surgeon I have found in the metropolitan area. His expertise and artistic eye have afforded me the facelift and necklift I have desired for many years. My neck is sculpted and without wrinkles now! As a follow up, I elected to have a Fractional CO2, in order to remove dark spots and sun damage, and believe me, it enhanced the work Dr Mao did during surgery!
