My deepest gratitude to Dr. Mao for his excellent work on my face, exceeding my expectations. During my face lift consultation, he offered to do the surgery at his office location and explained the entire process step by step, in which he included the local anesthesia injections around the face. I have to admit, I was very scared and thought it would be very painful. However, the injections felt like mosquito bites, and I slept throughout the entire process. My recovery was super fast, only took 2 weeks, and now I am back to my regular life feeling and looking gorgeous. PA Arissa was AMAZING for my injections. I’ve been to numerous doctors in San Francisco and across the country, and her results have been my favorite. She really listened to what I was looking for (as natural as possible, lifting up my eyes, etc) and her injections were really well done. No bruising and minimal swelling. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mao Facial Plastic Surgery for my first experience with lip fillers, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results and the service I received. After talking with my injector we decided on one syringe of Juvederm Ultra, and my injector, Arissa Schweiss, was absolutely fantastic. Arissa Schweiss, a key member of Dr. Mao’s team, she was incredibly thorough in her approach. Before the procedure, she took the time to explain everything to me in detail, from the ingredients in the Juvederm Ultra filler to what I could expect during and after the injection process. Her expertise and patience made me feel very comfortable, especially since this was my first time getting lip fillers. During the procedure, Arissa's precision and gentle technique were impressive. She took great care in ensuring that the filler was distributed evenly, resulting in beautifully natural-looking lips. She frequently checked in to make sure I was feeling okay and explained each step as she went along. Arissa also provided me with comprehensive aftercare instructions, ensuring I knew how to take care of my lips to achieve the best possible results. I saw Arissa the PA at Dr. Mao's office for a liquid facelift and I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! From the moment I walked into the office I was blown away. The office esthetic is regal and luxurious, yet clean and inviting. The front office staff was polite and welcoming. Arissa made me feel comfortable and prepared me for my treatment. I had lost a lot of volume in my face (volume aka face fat lol) and was really not enjoying my appearance. After reviewing some treatment options we landed on the liquid facelift, and I walked out of her office looking 10 years younger! I am beyond happy with my visit, with my treatment, and with Arissa! I came to Dr.Mao’s for liquid rhinoplasty and walked away extremely happy and satisfied with the results. Dr. Mao's physician's assistant Arrisa performed the injections with precision and she did an amazing job and I couldn’t be any happier. The before and after photos speak for themselves. She gave me a bridge and a more defined nose where before, it was wider and I always struggled to keep my glasses on. With my new nose came a slimmer face even tho none were injected in my cheeks. Needless to say, coming to Dr. Mao’s office was the best decision. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their office to anyone looking to have liquid rhinoplasty done.

My experience with Dr Mao, Arissa , Amanda and all staff was beyond my expectations! If I could rate higher it’s a 10++ I had been contemplating a neck lift for several years. From my first consultation through my recovery, the level of care was top notch. Dr. Mao is very down to earth which immediately put me at ease . Dr. Mao’s expertise helped me determine the work that best aligned with my rejuvenation goals. I ended choosing to do face lift ,neck lift and my eyes. Amanda was very efficient setting up my surgery and ensuring I was fully ready to go with detailed instructions. Arissa, met me the day after my surgery which fell on a Saturday with calm enthusiasm and incredible diligence in after surgery care. I had a small complication that I would never have realized as Arissa always was so calm, friendly and determined .. I refer to her as my angel as my healing and recovery went so well because of her attention and patience. I have and will continue to recommend all friends , family and anyone I can share how ecstatic I am with my overall beautiful results I literally get compliments all the time on how great I look ..refreshed and glowing. It is so natural and just a great refresh ., if I wasn’t such an open book no one would have know I had work done. I had my original rhinoplasty in NJ in 2022, I was left very unhappy with results. I saw Dr. Mao and he was so confident in his ability to give me more desired and natural results. I am currently 7 months post-op after a tip only in office revision rhinoplasty, and I couldn't be happier. It has been such an easy healing process. Not only were you able to help me get my life back from constant sinus infections, but my nose looks so refined and feminine compared to what it used to be. From Barbara P. - Dr. Mao has done my face lift, neck lift, and CO2 laser; however, even though all yielded dramatic transformations, I must give Dr, Mao kudos for something he corrected which had bothered me for nearly all my adult life, and that was the severe tears to my earlobes as a result of wearing heavy earrings, and drooping with age. With his signature artistic eye, he repaired and shaped my earlobes in a way that was so natural, that his modifications were undetectable! Now I can pull my hair back, sport new earrings with confidence knowing my new earlobes are in keeping with my face and neck procedures. I have now scheduled another CO2 and a Blepharoplasty, as I trust no one more than Dr. Mao and his extraordinary nurse, Amanda, both of whom have always demonstrated concern compassion, and expertise beyond anyone’s expectations. Dr. Johnny Mao is by far the best plastic surgeon I have found in the metropolitan area. His expertise and artistic eye have afforded me the facelift and necklift I have desired for many years. My results have been noticeable, yet natural, which is a balance that is not often attained by most surgeons. I feel and look refreshed with a smoother, more supple, yet firm appearance. My neck is sculpted and without wrinkles now! As a follow up, I elected to have a Fractional CO2, in order to remove dark spots and sun damage, and believe me, it enhanced the work Dr Mao did during surgery! I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Mao's work, as his professionalism, care, and execution of his craft are all to which every plastic surgeon should aspire. His staff, and especially his nurse, Amanda, mirror his commitment to his patients. Amanda has availed herself to meet my needs before, during, and after surgery, which has really added a personal touch to my experiences there. She is the perfect complement to Dr. Mao.
