During my face lift consultation, he offered to do the surgery at his office location and explained the entire process step by step, in which he included the local anesthesia injections around the face. After talking with my injector we decided on one syringe of Juvederm Ultra, and my injector, Arissa Schweiss, was absolutely fantastic. I came to Dr.Mao’s for liquid rhinoplasty and walked away extremely happy and satisfied with the results. Dr. Mao's physician's assistant Arrisa performed the injections with precision and she did an amazing job and I couldn’t be any happier. The before and after photos speak for themselves. She gave me a bridge and a more defined nose where before, it was wider and I always struggled to keep my glasses on. With my new nose came a slimmer face even tho none were injected in my cheeks. My experience with Dr Mao, Arissa , Amanda and all staff was beyond my expectations! If I could rate higher it’s a 10++ I had been contemplating a neck lift for several years. From my first consultation through my recovery, the level of care was top notch. Dr. Mao is very down to earth which immediately put me at ease . Dr. Mao’s expertise helped me determine the work that best aligned with my rejuvenation goals. I ended choosing to do face lift ,neck lift and my eyes. With his signature artistic eye, he repaired and shaped my earlobes in a way that was so natural, that his modifications were undetectable! Dr. Johnny Mao is by far the best plastic surgeon I have found in the metropolitan area. His expertise and artistic eye have afforded me the facelift and necklift I have desired for many years. My results have been noticeable, yet natural, which is a balance that is not often attained by most surgeons. I feel and look refreshed with a smoother, more supple, yet firm appearance. My neck is sculpted and without wrinkles now! As a follow up, I elected to have a Fractional CO2, in order to remove dark spots and sun damage, and believe me, it enhanced the work Dr Mao did during surgery! I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Mao's work, as his professionalism, care, and execution of his craft are all to which every plastic surgeon should aspire. His staff, and especially his nurse, Amanda, mirror his commitment to his patients.
